今天，我和爸爸去买鞭炮，“为什么过春节都要放鞭炮呢?”爸爸说：“过春节，放鞭炮，这是中国的习俗。”

我们在路上看到了美丽的雪景，和热热闹闹的人群。地面上结起了厚厚的冰，所以走起路来非常的滑，路上的行人都是小心翼翼的走着，生怕摔跤。而我却活蹦乱跳的’走，因为我不怕摔跤。
We saw the beautiful snow scene and the hot and noisy crowd on the road. There is thick ice on the ground, so the road is very slippery. The pedestrians on the road are very careful to walk, for fear of wrestling. And I’m walking around, because I’m not afraid of wrestling.
我们来到卖炮的地方，我看到各种各样的炮，简直让我眼花缭乱，在这么多炮中我看中了一个冲天炮，要求爸爸买下来。我非常高兴，因为，我买到了自己喜欢的炮。大年初一我要和爸爸一起放鞭炮，过春节。
When we came to the place where we sold guns, I saw all kinds of guns, which dazzled me. Among all the guns, I took a fancy to one and asked Dad to buy it. I’m very happy because I bought my favorite gun. On the first day of the new year, I will set off firecrackers with my father for the Spring Festival.
